Steve Blake fined $25k for directing ‘inappropriate language’ toward a fan

Lakers guard Steve Blake was fined $25,000 for directing “inappropriate language” toward a fan after fouling out during the team’s loss to the Clippers last Friday. The league’s PR department reported the news on Tuesday afternoon.

Blake was starting in place of injured Steve Nash and had 8 points, 3 turnovers and 2 assists in 38 minutes. After fouling out near the end of the fourth quarter, Blake exchanged words with a fan sitting in the front row. The exchange takes place shortly after the 45-second mark in the video below:
