Saints RB Darren Sproles out with broken hand and surgery
The New Orleans Saints’ running back and return specialist Darren Sproles is out with a broken hand that required surgery and will miss Monday night’s game against the Eagles.
There’s no word yet on the status of Sproles’ hand or his timetable for recovery.
#Saints coach Joe Vitt was vague on the timetable for Sproles' recovery. Said he'll be evaluated again next week.

Sproles set the NFL record for most all-purpose yards in a single season in 2011 and handles both kickoffs and punts for the Saints.
With Sproles out, running backs Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram will see more playing time on Monday night.
