Dwyane Wade: Heat-Knicks game should have been postponed
Dwyane Wade is in New York tonight to play the Knicks, and he isn’t too happy about it. The Heat star took to Twitter on the way into the city, complaining about the massive amount of traffic – traffic that existed at least partly because of hte lingering effects of Hurricane Sandy.
The tweet was subsequently deleted, but Wade later clarified his comments:

I luv playing in the garden but cnt do nothing but think abt all the families that dont have power,food,water etc..ths is a tragic hit 4 ths gr8 city. 2 be clear “Traffic tweet was meant 2 say”… We shouldn’t B hre 2 play a basketball game when theirs so many families obviously still R affected by #Sandy
The decision to go ahead with the game was made by the NBA league office, which is also based in New York City. The Knicks’ season opener against the Brooklyn Nets was postponed due to the storm, so the game against Miami will be first basketball action in New York City this winter.
