Missouri Head Coach Frank Haith suspended senior guard Michael Dixon along with freshman Dominique Bull for an unspecified violation of team rules, according to a report from CBS Sports.

Dixon was a vital member of the MIssouri Tigers’ men’s basketball team one year ago, playing valuable minutes as a sixth man on a team that won the 2012 Big 12 tournament and posted a 30-5 regular-season record before falling in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Dixon was named the Big 12 sixth man of the year by coaches from the conference, in addition to being named to the all-defensive team.

Dixon was expected to be a starter this year for the Tigers, who rank 17th in the AP preseason poll. Now he won’t be able to get on the floor for…at least a little while. Haith has yet to reveal how long the suspension will be.
