Report: Islanders moving to Brooklyn





In 2015, the Islanders will move to Brooklyn. When the team’s lease at the Nassau Coliseum expires, the Islanders will relocate.

For now, the move is only a report, but the Islanders owner Charles Wang and Barclays Center developer Bruce Ratnerare expected to make the official announcement at 1 p.m.
Isles' moving announcement will be formally made at 1 pm ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

According to someone involved in the deal, the Islanders will be playing at the Barclays center in Brooklyn.
