Cowboys hope DeMarco Murray can play against Giants
The Cowboys hope tests scheduled today will allow running back DeMarco Murray to return Sunday against the Giants, according to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.
Murray wore a protective boot and used crutches this week after suffering a foot injury against the Ravens on Oct. 14.
The Cowboys’ running game struggled in a 19-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday, gaining just 85 yards a week after amassing 277 rushing yards against the Ravens.
Murray has had success running against the Giants, gaining 131 yards on 20 carries in the Cowboys’ season-opening 24-17 win at MetLife Stadium.
