NFL investigating Chargers for use of sticky substance

NFL

The San Diego Chargers have found themselves in a sticky situation. FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer reports on Twitter that the NFL is investigating the team for using a sticky substance on their equipment in Monday night’s loss to the Denver Broncos.

Use of substances known colloquially as “stickum” have been banned in the NFL for many years. If the Chargers are found to be guilty of wrongdoing by the league, the penalties could be severe – a large fine and possibly even a loss of draft picks.
