Report: Adrian Peterson says DeAngelo Hall slapped his face
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson made an emotional return to FedEx Field, where he severely injured his left knee last Christmas Eve. Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins turned even more emotional for Peterson when he and Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall got in each other’s face following a first-quarter play.
Peterson said he was responding to a dirty play by Hall, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
“He slapped me in the face after making a good tackle,” Peterson said. “And I was just telling him, ‘Hey, don’t do me like that, brother.’ I looked him in the eyes and he knew I meant business.”
Hall has a long reputation for talking trash and making headlines, whether targeting an injured NFC East rival or criticizing his own rookie quarterback.
How's he gonna do that w/ a helmet on???
why is AP ALWAYS whining?
@AnthonyC13 Ummmm...he wasn't. He was answering a question about the mini-scuffle. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, his point was that he told Hall to step off rather than complain to the refs about it.
what a poop hole
Nasty! Take that, you great running back! I am surprised Peterson did not drill him into a hole in the ground! Great restrain, AP!
That's about what I'd expect from the same guy who wore a FREE MICHAEL VICK t-shirt under his jersey during an Atlanta Falcon Monday Night Football game and pulled it up to show the world. Another one of Al Davis' (and Dan Snyder's) genius signings. Can't wait for him to be on the "Guess Who's Broke?" list.
DeAngelo has always been a "bad actor".
