Chris Iannetta, Angels agree to extension

MLB

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim wasted no time making moves on the first day of their off-season, resigning catcher Chris Iannetta to a contract extension, according ot a tweet from the Los Angeles Times’ Mike DiGiovanna.

Traded to the Angels from the Colorado Rockies in the previous offseason, Iannetta hit .240 this season along with a .332 on base percentage in his first year in Anaheim.
