Hakeem Nicks to sit out Sunday’s game
Giants wideout Hakeem Nicks will not play in this Sunday’s game against the Browns, the team announced on Twitter on Thursday morning:

Nicks, who was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week during Week 2, missed the last two games due to soreness in his right foot and swelling in his left knee. Nicks had surgery on the foot during the offseason and banged it up further during the 41-34 win over the Bucs in Week 2. The Giants may have a tough time replacing him after Ramses Barden, one of Nicks’s replacements, was diagnosed with a concussion earlier in the week.
