Top-ranked recruit Dorial Green-Beckham and two teammates were suspended for one game after being arrested for marijuana possession, according to a report from CBS Sports. Green-Beckham and fellow freshmen Levi Copelin and Torey Boozer were in a parked car on campus when the arrest took place on Wednesday night.

According to the police report,

“The officer noticed the individuals sitting in a car and went up and made contact,” MU Police Department Spokesman Brian Weimer said. “The officer observed the odor of marijuana. Through the investigation, the officer made the arrest of three individuals.”

The football team’s spokesman, Chad Moller said the team would take appropriate disciplinary action:

“We’re aware of the incident and have addressed it,” Moller said in the statement. “All individuals involved have been immediately suspended from the program for one game. All other disciplinary measures will be handled internally, and there will be no further comment.”

The players will miss the Tigers’ Saturday night game against Vanderbilt.
