The New York Jets signed receiver Jason Hill on Wednesday, possibly bracing for the news that leading receiver Santonio Holmes will most likely miss the remainder of the season because of a Lisfrance injury, reports CBSSports.com.
Hill, 27, was originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and was released by the Denver Broncos at the end of their training camp this season.
Hill has career marks of 70 receptions for 967 yards and eight touchdowns.
Hill is the same player that called Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis “overhyped” last season and Revis responded by saying “I don’t even know who that dude is.”
Sorry, got confused there – the Jets signed WR Jason Hill. Bracing for loss of Santonio Holmes for season—

Jason Hill? Revis got it right when he said "I don't even know this dude" He will be a nonfactor to the success of the Jets offense. Jets offense is in real trouble if their running game stalls.
