Sheets is scheduled to make his final start against the Pirates. The veteran right-hander has pitched well for the Braves, posting a 3.54 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 48 1/3 innings this season before experiencing a “dead arm” in late August.
He will enter his final start with a career record of 94-96 and 3.78 ERA in 10 MLB seasons.
