Bart Scott threatens reporter in Jets locker room
Jets linebacker Bart Scott had to be restrained by a team employee after threatening a reporter in the locker room this afternoon.
The reporter, Dan Leberfeld of JetsConfidential.com, was taking a cell phone picture of Scott, which seemed to provoke the incident. New York Post reporter Bart Hubbuch chronicled the series of events in a series of tweets.
Bart Scott just had to be separated from reporter Dan Leberfeld in the locker room. Bizarre scene.—

Jets PR guy Bruce Speight stepped in front of Scott. Only thing that seemed to prevent fisticuffs.—

Some color: Jets PR guy Bruce Speight had to use both hands to Scott’s chest and ask for help from PR aides to keep Scott away.—

Bart Scott's exact quote to Leberfeld: "I'll smack the sh*t out of you!" He followed up by saying: "B*tch ass, motherf*****!"—

Scott has had his fair share of issues with the New York sports media recently, even going so far as to declare a media boycott last week to USA Today.
Scott is a class act, that B*tch ass motherf*****!!!
Yet again Bart Scott failed to record a significant hit. Biggest play of the year was knocking his own teammate out for a week.
Be a pro, not a hothead, Bart.
