Report: Alonzo Gee signs deal with Cavaliers
Alonzo Gee came on strong for the rebuilding Cavaliers last season, and now the Cleveland franchise has rewarded him for his emergence. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports in a tweet that the team has signed Gee to a multi-year deal, making him the incumbent starting small forward for the team when training camp opens this fall.
Gee played 61 games for the Cavs last season, averaging 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, and bounced between the Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs before settling in Cleveland.
