MSG president Scott O’Neil is expected to resign according to sources, says Frank Isola of the New York Daily News:

O’Neil was named president of MSG in July of 2008 and oversees the business operations of the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and Hartford Wolfpack, in addition to events at MSG-owned venues such as Madison Square Garden. The reason for O’Neil’s supposed departure has yet to be determined.

O’Neil received his MBA from Harvard and was named to Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame.
