The Seattle Seahawks are looking to trade veteran quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, reports Profootballtalk.com.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that the Seahawks are talking to a couple of teams about trading Jackson, and that a deal could happen. But the Seahawks prefer to wait for one or more teams to suffer a quarterback injury during the preseason, which would help them get a better deal in return.

A trade could be difficult because Jackson is set to make $4 million this season. Jackson did not play in the team’s first preseason game and head coach Pete Carroll said he will not play in Saturday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Matt Flynn will start and rookie Russell Wilson will back him up.

Jackson, 29, threw for 3,091 yards with 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions last season.

Who is advising Pete Carroll on his QB decisions??? How was Charlie Whitehurst worth a 2nd and 3rd Round Pick?? How was Matt Flynn worth the contract he received after footage from a Single game? And how is Russell Wilson the savior/future for a franchise when every other NFL team passed on him as an option?

How does adding malcontents like Braylon Edwards and T.O. help the development of any QB??

Seahawks really need to start analyzing Carroll's moves because alot of them don't make sense.

Erik Don't make sense to you maybe, but he's doing OK.  Who has the right to say he's doing it wrong?  You?  What team do you coach?

    We like him!

If you were ranked #50 in the entire world in tennis players, how would you appreciate being called a piece of crap?

The guy is probably around the 30th-40th best QB in the world, but there's only so many pro teams.
