Auburn true freshman quarterback Zeke Pike, who had been suspended indefinitely by coach Gene Chizik after he was arrested in June for public intoxication, has been dismissed from the team, Chizik confirmed on Wednesday.

Details from Justin Hokanson of AuburnSports.com:

Pike was behind junior Clint Moseley, who started the final six games of the 2011 season, and sophomore Kiehl Frazier on the Tigers depth chart. An early enrollee, Pike was ranked among the top 16 pro-style QBs in the high school class of 2012 by 247Sports.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com.
