Both players have a history of knee problems. Goff tore his ACL last season while with the Giants. The 26-year-old had started every game for New York in 2010.
For Thomas, it is his third ACL injury in his career. The 27-year-old started every game for the team in 2009 and 2010, intercepting five passes each season.
