Otah was a first-round pick in 2008, but he has battled knee problems throughout his career. He missed all of 2010 after having surgery on his knee during training camp. Last October, the Panthers again put Otah on injured reserve because of his knee issues.
In June, an MRI on Otah’s left knee showed no serious damage. If he can stay healthy, Otah would provide a huge boost to New York’s offensive line.
