The rest of the world has allowed advertising on uniforms for years, but in the U.S. none of the Big Four leagues has jumped in. (MLB has allowed it for season-opening games overseas.) Only MLS has taken advantage of this revenue stream until now, and we imagine that NBA teams will reap significantly greater rewards than their soccer counterparts.
