Indians’ 3B Lonnie Chisenhall out with forearm fracture after being hit by pitch
Cleveland Indians rookie third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall left Friday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth inning after taking a Tyler Patton fastball near the right wrist, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com.
After he was taken for X-rays, the results were not good, per Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
To be specifc Lonnie Chisenhall suffered fracture of right unla bone. #Indians.—

Chisenhall will be place on the disabled list. No word on who will replace him. #Indians.—

As for when Chisenhall might be back, Hoynes passed along manager Manny Acta’s prognosis:
Lonnie Chisenhall will need surgery to repair broken ulna bone in right forearm. Manny Acta said he'll be out 4/6 wks. #Indians.—

Chisenhall was hitting .278 with three home runs and nine RBIs since being called up on May 28. The Indians are covered at third since Jack Hannahan’s return from the DL and have Travis Hafner at DH, so they may not miss Chisenhall’s bat that much.
