Report: Kings pick Orlando Johnson headed to Pacers in exchange for cash
Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com was the first to report that the Indiana Pacers made a deal to acquire the 36th overall pick from the Sacramento Kings. That means that UC-Santa Barbara guard Orlando Johnson is heading to Indianapolis.
Pacers fans are upset that the team selected Duke forward Miles Plumlee with the 26th pick (see this tweet from Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star), and it’s hard to imagine them getting fired up about Johnson.
Chad Ford of ESPN.com tweeted the terms of the trade:
The Pacers sent the Kings cash in return for the 36th pick according to source—
