Reports: Dallas, Jacksonville to bid for NCAA football championship game
Now that a four-team college football playoff is on its way, one of the last pieces of business is where the championship game will be held.
According to Chuck Carlton of The Dallas Morning News, Jerry Jones & Co., as expected, want in on the action:
BCS nugget via a source: the Cotton Bowl, Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys Stadium have formed non-profit entity to bid on national title games.—

Meanwhile, Gator Bowl president Rick Catlett told Garry Smits of the The Florida Times Union that Jacksonville will also submit a bid.
Other cities that are said to have interest include Atlanta and Tampa. SI.com’s Andy Staples adds that recent Super Bowl sites should provide a good idea as to cities and stadia in the running.
