Report: Los Angeles Dodgers interested in Chicago Cubs’ Ryan Dempster
The Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in acquiring Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Ryan Dempster, according to a tweet by CBS Sports‘ Danny Knobler.
Dodgers are definitely interested in Cubs' Dempster, as they were 2 years ago. Back then, he didn't want to leave, and Cubs didn't trade him

Dempster, a 35-year-old righthander, has been with Chicago for nine of his 15 years in the majors.
The two-time All-Star has undergone a resurgence this season. He is only 2-3 in 11 starts, but his ERA is down to 2.31. Dempster is also in the final year of his contract, making him a strong candidate to be traded.
The Cubs have the second-worst record in baseball, while the Dodgers hold the league’s best mark.
