Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz angry about recent arrests
Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Tuesday that he is unhappy with the actions of some members of his team in recent weeks.
There have been five arrests this year of members of the team’s 2011 draft class, according to Pro Football Talk.
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press detailed some of Schwartz’s comments about the offseason in a series of tweets Tuesday morning.

Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) May 29, 2012Former first-round pick Nick Fairley was arrested Sunday morning for driving under the influence and trying to elude police. Fairley was also arrested April 3 for possession of marijuana. Another member of the 2011 draft class, running back Mikel Leshoure, plead guilty this offseason for marijuana possession.
Another recent incident to receive attention featured wide receiver Titus Young allegedly sucker punching teammate Louis Delmas during voluntary workouts earlier this month.
Neither Fairley nor Young spoke with the media after practice. Veteran receiver Nate Burleson said that Young had apologized for his actions during a meeting, according to Birkett.
