Clark also worked out for the New England Patriots last week, as Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe reported. The veteran tight end has been a free agent for two months — along with quarterback Curtis Painter, running back Joseph Addai and a few others, he was part of the mass exodus from Indianapolis in early March when the team parted ways with Peyton Manning.
The Buccaneers are reportedly working on a trade to unload their current tight end, Kellen Winslow. Winslow had 75 receptions for 763 yards and two touchdowns last season; Clark had 34 catches for 352 yards and two TDs.
