Jockey Kent Desmoreaux Removed From Mounts After Failing Breathalyzer At Belmont
Jockey Kent Desmoreaux was removed from his mounts today at Belmont after failing to pass a breathalyzer, according to Bryan Graham of Sports Illustrated.

Desmoreaux is slated to ride Tiger Walk in the Preakness tomorrow. The 42-year-old jockey has nearly won the Triple Crown twice in his career. Once with Real Quiet in 1998, and again with Big Brown in 2008.
In 2011 he was arrested when he struck a Peace Officer at a Saratoga Race Course. He was officially charged with Second Degree Reckless Endangerment.
