Boxer Manny Pacquiao told the National Conservative Examiner that he is against same sex marriage.

“God only expects man and woman to be together and to be legally married, only if they so are in love with each other,” Manny Pacquiao said. “It should not be of the same sex so as to adulterate the altar of matrimony, like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah of Old.”

While also one of the world’s greatest boxers, Pacquiao is a congressman in the Philippines. The 33-year-old was elected in 2010 after losing his first bid to become a member of the Philippine House of Representatives in 2007.

In the ring, Pacquiao is 54-3-2 overall.
