Dallas Mavericks Re-Sign Head Coach Rick Carlisle

The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed head coach Rick Carlisle, according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Carlisle finished his fourth season with the Mavericks this season, and has posted a 198-114 record with the team. Last season he helped the Mavericks win the NBA Championship, defeating the favored Miami Heat in six games.

Overall Carlisle has posted a 479-325 record in 10 seasons in the NBA. He has only failed to lead his team to the playoffs one time in that span.
