Injured Cleveland Indians outfielder Grady Sizemore is hoping to rejoin the team in June, according to the Associated Press.
Sizemore, 29, had surgery in early March to repair his lower back, an injury sustained while rehabbing from October knee surgery. A three-time American League All-Star, Sizemore has played a total of only 104 games between 2010 and ’12. He’s been on the DL seven times in four years.
Incidentally, the Indians are doing just fine in Sizemore’s absence — they’re 17-11, best in the AL Central.
