Brewers To Place Carlos Gomez And Alex Gonzalez On Disabled List

The Milwaukee Brewers will put outfielder Carlos Gomez (left hamstring) and shortstop Alex Gonzalez on the 15-day disabled list tomorrow, according to the team’s media relations director, Mike Vassallo.

INF Taylor Green (recalled) & INF Edwin Maysonet (contract selected) will join the #Brewers tomorrow from AAA Nashville. Gamel to 60-day DL.

The team will recall infielders Taylor Green and Edwin Maysonet to replace Gomez and Gonzalez, according to Vassallo.

Gomez, 26, was hitting .280 with one home run, five RBIs and five steals for the Brewers this season. Gonzalez, 35, was hitting .250 with four home runs and 14 RBIs.
