Pablo Sandoval Has Fractured Hamate Bone, Out 4-6 Weeks





San Francisco Giants slugger Pablo Sandoval has a fractured left hamate bone, according to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle.
CONFIRMED: Pablo Sandoval has fractured his left hamate bone. Last year he missed 6 weeks and 41 games.

Sandoval, 25, suffered a similar injury last season during spring training and missed six weeks.
Sandoval had been hitting .316/.375/.537 with five home runs and 15 RBI in 24 games for the Giants this season. Last year he hit .315/.357/.552 with 23 home runs and 70 RBI in 117 games.
