Sports World Reacts To Death Of Former NFL Linebacker Junior Seau
There’s been widespread despair across the sports world today at the suicide of former NFL linebacker Junior Seau. Among the noted sports figures mourning Seau’s passing are former teammate Drew Brees, former USC coach Pete Carroll and agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Seau was found dead today in his Oceanside, Calif., home, the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was 43 years old.
Seau played 19 seasons in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots before his retirement in 2010. He was a 12-time Pro Bowler and a 10-time All-Pro selection; he played in two Super Bowls.
