Report: Boise State QB Kellen Moore Undrafted, But Signs With Lions
For a moment, it looked like the winningest quarterback in college football history would wind up homeless in the NFL — but now, according to a report from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, undrafted Boise State QB Kellen Moore has caught on with the Detroit Lions.

Chris Mortensen (@mortreport) April 29, 2012Moore went 50-3 as the Broncos’ starter over his four years in Boise, shattering the all-time NCAA Div. I FBS wins record. He also finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 2010.
Moore had another impressive season in 2011 — he threw for 3,800 yards with 43 touchdowns, then capped off his career with a victory in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl over Arizona State, 56-24.
Moore’s role in Detroit will likely be that of backup to Matthew Stafford, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft out of Georgia.
