Report: Bills Interested In Vikings’ No. 3 Pick, Eyeing USC’s Matt Kalil

Maybe the rumors were true — there’s still a chance of the Minnesota Vikings trading the No. 3 pick in the upcoming NFL draft. According to Charley Casserly of CBS, the Buffalo Bills are interested in trading up and using the pick to draft USC lineman Matt Kalil.
Buuffalo I am told would like to trade up to take Matt Kalil and will give up a second rd draft choice to do it.

Kalil is a good fit for the Bills, who desperately need a quality left tackle to protect young quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Kalil is billed as the top lineman in the draft class, perhaps a franchise-caliber talent at the position.
There was a rumor three weeks ago that Minnesota was considering moving the No. 3; that buzz has since died down, but it’s worth noting that Vikings GM Rick Spielman has hinted he’s open to a draft-day deal.
We’re now less than 24 hours away from the draft — the first pick is announced at 8 p.m. Eastern tomorrow — and it’s still not exactly clear what the Bills would give up to acquire the No. 3 pick. According to Casserly, the package would include the Bills’ second-rounder.
