Yankees’ Andy Pettitte Has Successful Rehab Start In Extended Spring Training

New York Yankees left-hander Andy Pettitte threw five innings in an extended spring training game against the Pittsburgh Pirates today, according to MLB.com.
Pettitte allowed two earned runs on four hits against a squad of Pirates minor-leaguers at the Yankees’ complex on Himes Avenue in Tampa. He expects to make his next start at a higher level, for Double-A Trenton.
Pettitte, who came out of retirement at 39 a month ago to rejoin the Yankees, is still a month away from returning to the major leagues.
