Dylan Favre, Brett’s Nephew, Arrested For Marijuana Possession In Mississippi

A rotten apple has fallen from the family tree of former NFL quarterback Brett Favre — his nephew, Dylan Favre, was arrested early this morning for marijuana possession, according to the Sun Herald in Mississippi.
Dylan Dewayne Favre, 20, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. today by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, said Chief Deputy Shane Tucker. The exact amount of marijuana found was not revealed.
Favre remains in custody, and Tucker says it’s likely that a judge will set bond tomorrow.
The younger Favre is also a former quarterback — he began the 2011 season at Mississippi State, with hopes of winning the Bulldogs’ starting job in his freshman season. That bid was unsuccessful, as Favre made just 26 passes, completing 13 and averaging 4.6 yards per pass. He transferred to Pearl River Community College in December.
