No Timetable For Chris Carpenter’s Return
There is no timetable for injured St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter to return from his shoulder injury, according to B.J. Rains of FOXSportsMidwest.com.
Chris Carpenter said he is feeling better but still not strong enough to begin throwing. No timetable at this point.

B.J. Rains (@BJRains) April 13, 2012According to the Sporting News, there is a possibility that Carpenter, who has not pitched yet this season, could return to the rotation by May, though June is more likely.
Last season, Carpenter pitched a total of 273 1/3 innings (including the playoffs) with a 3.45 ERA in the regular season and a 3.25 ERA in the postseason.
