You know what they always say — if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Two months after trying and failing to defeat them in Super Bowl XLVI, free agent cornerback Antwaun Molden has agreed to sign with the New York Giants.

Claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots on August 31, 2011, Molden had a productive season — he recorded 22 tackles and two interceptions for a Pats team that went 14-2 and advanced to the Super Bowl. He recorded five tackles in the big game, but New York beat New England, 21-17.

Molden was a third-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2008 draft, out of Eastern Kentucky.
