Ban On Reebok Tim Tebow Jerseys Upheld

NFL

A judge denied Reebok’s attempt to sell Tim Tebow New York Jets jerseys, according to ESPNNewYork.com.

Reebok’s contract to sell NFL jerseys with player names on the back ended in February, but the company argued that they should be able to sell left over apparel for two months.

Nike’s Tebow jerseys will not hit stores until April.

“It is a minor hardship to Jets and Tim Tebow fans to have to wait till April 27 to get their jerseys,” the judge said.

Reebok had an agreement to sell NFL apparel for the last 10 years, which expired in February.
