Stephon Marbury’s Home Sells At Foreclosure Auction

Two-time NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury’s Los Angeles home was recently sold at a foreclosure auction, reports TMZ.
According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Marbury owed $3.1 million on the seven-bedroom, eight-bath 8,000 sq. ft. property, and the house was recently sold at auction for $2.275 million.
When asked about whether he thinks the injury-riddled New York Knicks would attempt to sign Marbury, Knicks shooting guard JR Smith told the New York Post that he had spoke to Marbury several times and he told him he wants to continue his Chinese career for marketing reasons.
Marbury, currently in China playing for the Beijing Ducks, has experienced much success overseas as he recently led the Ducks to their first title. The former NBA star led his Beijing team to the Chinese Basketball Association championship, scoring 42 points in the series clincher Friday night.
