Grant Hill Says He Will Return This Season From Knee Surgery
Phoenix Suns small forward Grant Hill believes that he can return from knee surgery before the end of the 2011-12 season, according to The Republic.
“I think I can,” Hill told The Republic. “Doc is pleased with the surgery and what he saw in there. I’ll be back this year.”
“We can get a lot done,” Hill said. “We’ll get double, triple sessions in daily. Being with Aaron and the training staff is the ideal scenario.”
Hill underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn medial meniscus. He will be traveling with the Suns this week in order to work with the team’s trainer. The Suns have 14 games remaining on their season.
The 39-year-old veteran is averaging a career-low 10.7 points and 2.3 assists per game this season in 46 contests for the Suns.
