Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw To Sit Out During Team Offseason Activities
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw will not participate in organized team activities including mini-camp this offseason after having bone marrow from his hip injected into his injured right foot, according the New York Post.
Bradshaw spent the majority of last season playing with a cracked bone in his right root. Although he told the post he is able to run, he told the New York Daily News he plans to rest his foot as much as possible this offseason.
Bradshaw underwent the procedure in late March. According to the Post, the procedure requires about three months of recovery time.
Last season, Bradshaw rushed for 659 yards in 171 attempts and scored nine touchdowns. In the post- season, including the Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots, the Giants running back rushed for 272 yards in 63 attempts and one touchdown.
