Tony La Russa To Join MLB As Special Advisor





Former St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa will join Major League Baseball as a special advisor, according to Buster Olney of ESPN. La Russa will earn around $2.5 million a year.

La Russa, 67, retired from managing after he led the Cardinals to a World Series championship in 2011. In 33 years of managing, he won three World Series titles and 6 pennants and had an overall record of 2728-2365 (.536).
