Kentucky’s Anthony Davis Named AP Player Of The Year





University of Kentucky forward Anthony Davis has been named the Associated Press’ College Basketball Player of the Year, according to Kentucky’s Twitter account. Davis received 43 votes from the 65-member panel.

Davis averaged 14.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per game in his freshman season for the Wildcats. He joins Kevin Durant as the only two freshmen to win the award.
