Legendary NBA coach Phil Jackson underwent successful knee replacement surgery today, according to his girlfriend Jeanie Buss:

Buss, the daughter of Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss, tweeted the news at 5:11 p.m. Pacific.

Jackson coached for over two decades in the NBA, winning 1,640 games with the Chicago Bulls and the Lakers. He won a record 11 championship rings before his retirement at the conclusion of last season.
