According to the Knicks beat writer Howard Beck, Stoudemire will need 2-4 weeks of rehabilitation after he receives an epidural shot to fix the bulging disk in his back.
With Stoudemire out this long, his loss could be detrimental to the Knicks chances of making the playoffs. With a 25-25 record, the Knicks are currently in the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Jeremy Lin, suffering from a knee injury, is also still questionable for tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic.
