Rams Agree To Terms With Steve Smith And Matthew Mulligan





The Saint Louis Rams have agreed to terms with Philadelphia Eagles receiver Steve Smith and New York Jets tight end Matthew Mulligan, according to a tweet from Rams beat writer Jim Thomas.

Smith played for the Giants from 2007-2010 totaling 220 receptions for 2,386 yards and 11 touchdowns. Smith made the Pro Bowl in 2009, when he posted a franchise-record 107 receptions for 1,220 yards and seven touchdowns. However, last season with the Eagles he was limited to nine games due to injury and finished the season with 48 receptions for 529 yards and three touchdowns.
Mulligan played for the Jets from 2009-2011, where he recorded six receptions for 60 yards in 34 games played. Last season he played in 16 games and had five receptions for 58 yards. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans.
