Joba Chamberlain Out With A Dislocated Ankle





Yankees pitcher, Joba Chamberlain will be out indefinitely after having surgery to repair a dislocated ankle last night, according to a tweet from YES Sports Analyst Jack Curry.
Joba Chamberlain dislocated right ankle yesterday and had surgery last night. Cashman called it a significant injury.

The injury happened last night when Chamberlain was jumping on a trampoline with his son.
Cashman said Joba injured himself while playing with his son. They were jumping around on a "trampoline" of sorts.

Chamberlain has been with the Yankees since 2007, and won a World Series Championship with them in 2009. Last season he posted 2.38 ERA and had 24 strikeouts. He has a 3.70 ERA and 386 strikeouts throughout his career.
